Our Instructors & Staff Members

Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Taekwondo and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.

Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students. Here are a few of Hong's USA Taekwondo, Habgido, Gumdo, Inc.'s instructors and other staff members, starting with Soon Pil Hong:

Soon Pil Hong  (9th Dan/Degree Taekwondo, 8th Dan/Degree Habgido, 8th/Degree Dan Gumdo) Grandmaster S.P. Hong is also certified in the requirements of Adult CPR through the Red Cross. He associated with the USA Taekwondo (M.A.C.). Grandmaster S.P. Hong is also the U.S. Referee Chairman. He is affiliated with the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF).

Dr. Trevor Neal  (4th Dan/Degree Taekwondo, 3rd Dan/Degree Habgido, 2nd Dan/Degree Gumdo) He is a surgeon that specializes in the foot & ankle. Dr. Trevor Neal is also the Director of the Universal American National Taekwondo Habgido Gumdo Union (website: www.uantu.org). He is also the Secretary General of the World Muye Federation (website: www.utukorea.org).
